    Thanks this is a great tutorial, I have a couple of questions.

    1) should 'required' be used in the input fields of the html form?

    2) Should the user input data be 'sanitized' before posting/emailing?

    Only about half-way though, Experience concerned about JS validation without PHP filters – hackers can hijack the form and take over .htaccess and turn your site into spam, but only when googlebot scans it. Pretty crazy, I've had to recover and repair a clients website that had this happen when another freelancer took over lol

    Hope the PHP mailer platform takes care of all that, will review it.

    You’re a lifesaver. I’m pretty new to WordPress and PHP, as I primarily used Node.js previously. I built a website for a local business with custom plugins and a custom theme, but I couldn’t get the email to work on Bluehost. After researching and not finding any clear answers, I installed PHPmailer, and it worked. That tells me that my local version of php is including features that Bluehost doesn’t provide out-of-the-box. I wanted to test it locally before pushing the changes, and your video made that process clear. Thanks again.

    Why it doesn't work for me? Errors appear on lines:
    $mail->isHTML(isHtml: true);

    $mail->setFrom($login, $name);

    $mail->addAddress(address: "myaddres");

    I am having a major issue. I am using bootstrap and something happened that the emails just stopped being sent. I have sent more than a week trying to fix this without success.
    I then turned to phpmailer, but the issue is in the newer version of phpmailer, the syntax is somewhat different.
    I found your video, I tried to download the sourcecode but when doing so, the files that I get are nowhere near what I see you coding on the video. Meaning that the sourcecode is not teh same as the video content.
    Where can I get the correct source files?
    Thanks
    Lawrence
