Here’s how to add a new Web Panel in Vivaldi To get started, expand the main Panel by clicking the Show Panel toggle in the Status Bar. In the expanded view, you’ll now see icons for your Bookmarks, Downloads, and Notes. Below that, there is a “plus” sign which can be used to add new Web Panels. Click this plus sign, enter the URL for the site you’d like to add, and hit Enter. Your new panel is live – and will be ready for you whenever you relaunch the browser or open a new window. Web Panels are a great way to keep up with social feeds and messenger apps throughout the day, or to quickly access tools that you find yourself visiting regularly. Any page can be added as a Web Panel. Simply open the page you’d like to add, right-click anywhere and select “Add Page to Web Panel” from the menu. Keep in mind that due to the smaller view area, mobile-friendly sites will work best. Thanks for watching. Find out more by visiting vivaldi.com

The Web Panel works nice with Tweetdeck but is a little annoying how I have to always resize it when I want to RT something. Is there a way around this.

So far I love Vivaldi, I just have a couple of problems with it. Besides the resize thing, the Youtube player looks small (where in Chrome it always looks expanded) and sometimes in image-heavy sites it takes too long to load them.

Sorry , you lost me at "click Show Panel Toggle in the Status Bar" I guess I"m just too set in my ways, and don't understand the terminology , and find your video confusing and too quick to follow.

I tried adding quora as a web panel to Vivaldi. After scrolling a bit down, it basically blocked the content with a gray screen and asked me to download 'app'. (I am sure this was meant for mobile). After I clicked on it, nothing happened. (As expected). Just that I was unable to go 'back' nor forward. Finally I had to return to the 'home' (base url of quora) using 'home' icon. This is not really the problem of Vivaldi but of Quora's. This comment is to remind users that even the best solutions don't work without cooperation.

I'm just now discovering Vivaldi. I've got Vivaldi 2.2.1388.34 (Stable channel) (64-bit). I added a web panel but for the life of me can't delete it. I've tried ctrl clicking on it and that doesn't work. I've tried just selecting it and hitting delete and that doesn't make it disappear. I've tried double clicking on it., etc. Using an iMac. Help.
