If you’re watching this, chances are, you probably enjoy making videos, and like the rest of us, you want yours to stand out above the rest. One way of doing this is by adding custom
titles, transitions and graphic elements to your videos, in the right place, at the right time. Today, we’ll take a look at a giant custom plugin pack for Final Cut Pro, that has something for everyone. Hey guys, how’s it going. My name is Serge, and welcome back to my channel. Before we get started, I want to say thank you to the sponsor of this video, Envato. Their online marketplace has a ton of assets for creators, and today, we’ll take a look at one of their most popular products for
Final Cut Pro, the FCPX Titles and Transitions Pack by Vystina. With this pack, for only $39USD, you get 600 custom titles, 300 transitions, and an additional 150 graphic
elements, such as social media icons. With this many to choose from, there’s something here for everyone. Let’s take a look at just a small sample
of what you get. Down in my timeline, I have a product review project I’m working
on, so let’s add some titles from this pack to make it pop a bit. First up, is at the start of my videos, just as I’m introducing myself, I like to add my Twitter handle. So, in the Titles and Generators browser, let’s select the FCP Titles Collection category, and Scroll down to the Social Media theme. From here let’s select the Icon Title 1, and press Q to connect it to our timeline. Now, with the playhead over the title clip, and the clip selected, in the inspector, select the Titles inspector. This is where you can adjust the appearance
of your title. You can Enable and disable the title animations, select your social media icon, change any of the colors, and replace the default text with your own. You can also reposition this title by using the on-screen controls. Let’s place it up here where it’s clearly
visible. Play it back and see if you like what it looks
like. For my example, I’d like it to stay on screen for a little
longer, so all I have to do is just ripple trim the
clip. This looks better. Lets move on, and use one of the titles from this pack to make a branded intro clip. Let’s scroll down to the Logo Strings category, and skim over some of these titles. This one here looks good, so let’s try it out. Press Q to connect it to your timeline, and head up to the video inspector to customize
it. First thing we want to do, is replace the sample logo with our own. Scroll down to the Logo dropdown menu, and change this to dropzone. Click the arrow in the box right under it, and select your own logo to place here. Click Apply Clip. Next, let’s change the text, and reposition it to line it up. And last, let’s adjust the colors to better match our brand. Add some intro music, ripple trim the length of your clip, and you have your own, custom video intro. Next, let’s add a callout title to highlight our product. Place your playhead where you want to add your callout, and in the Titles and Generators browser, scroll up to the callouts category. Select your callout title, and drop it onto your timeline. In the inspector, change your text, adjust the appearance of the title, and position it in over your product by either using the on-screen controls in
the viewer, or in the inspector. If there’s movement in your shot, you can also keyframe the position, to track the callout title with your product. Keep going and add as many titles as you feel necessary to your project, there’s lot’s to choose from. Next, let’s take a look at some of the transitions you get with this plugin. Open the transitions browser, and select the FCP Transitions collection. Here, you get 300 individual transitions. There’s lots to choose from, but my favourites are the Glitch and Zoom transitions. First, let’s scroll down and take a look at the Glitch theme. This pack includes 25 glitch transitions you can apply to your clips. Skim over some of these to see a preview of what they look like, and once you find the one you like, apply it just like any other transition. Let’s take a look at a few different glitch transitions available in
this pack. There’s also 57 different zoom transitions included in this plugin that also look amazing when applied to your
clips. Besides the Glitch and the Zoom transitions, there’s over 200 other transitions for a grand total of 300 different custom
transitions. So, with the FCPX Titles and Transitions pack, you get 600 custom titles, 300 transitions, and another 150 additional elements for a grand total of 1050 individual items. All this for only $39 USD. This is one of the most popular items in the Envato Marketplace, and if you look at what you get and some of the reviews, you can clearly see
why. All the plugins in the Envato Marketplace can be purchased individually, or if you subscribe to Envato Elements, for a low monthly fee, you get access to over 1.6 million royalty
free items, including stock photos and videos, royalty free music, most plugins available in the Envato Marketplace
and more. All this for starting at $16.50/month. Unfortunately, the plugin we looked at today is not available as part Envato Elements, but there’s a ton to choose from. Once again, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Envato for sponsoring this video, and promoting individual developers such as
Vystina, that sell products through their site. If you enjoyed this video, make sure to give it a thumbs up and check out the rest of my channel for more Final Cut Pro tutorials.
